The cottage has recently been extended and refurbished to offer two double rooms and one twin room, all with en suite facilities. It stands in its own grounds that feature a free flowing beck and waterfall and are home to a variety of bird life including heron, buzzard and dipper. There is ample off road parking available.
Ingleton is one of England's natural beauty spots and has everything to offer from easy woodland walks to the spectacular Ingleton waterfalls and the world famous White Scar caves. For the less adventurous Ingleton offers a heated outdoor pool, bowling green, climbing wall and a variety of shops including many that specialise in climbing and caving.
Kirkby Lonsdale has the well known meeting place, Devil's Bridge, which spans the river Lune; a walk along the river bank takes you to the famous artist scene "Ruskin's View" which then leads onto the shopping street which has many high quality shops and restaurants. Also within easy reach are Bentham, Settle and Casterton golf courses. Dotted around are a variety of eating places to cater for all tastes and requirements.
